I've been an Internet marketing professional for about 20 years now (an absolute dinosaur in the industry) and the amount of work I do for Rand and the ideas of liberty around the Internet would cost someone a pretty penny if I were being paid. It's a labor of love!

One of the most important things today is to be represented all across social media because just based on numbers, people are looking and happening upon these communities. On Facebook, Rand is well represented with many groups of supporters on community pages (here's one example of the many and I didn't create it). I'm a member of dozens.

But on Google+, which is now the second largest social media platform in the world and, based on the numbers, will pass Facebook in about 2 years, there was not a Rand Paul community until today! I've created one and I want to use it to inform, encourage, organize and WIN!

PLEASE, join the Rand Paul Community on Google+ so that we can dominate all of social media and reach more folks! It's going to take us all being dedicated promoters of liberty and Rand Paul as a candidate!

It would be encouraging to me if you'd respond to this post by saying "Joined" or whatever if you did. I want to provide a place like this to help draw people in who might not find this forum or the Facebook groups. Thank you.

Okay. I was thinking about creating a Google+ profile since I started using Android recently. I just didn't have a reason to create one. I'm just afraid I'd be dangerous on politically driven social media. I'm not so much a fanboy of politicians themselves and am highly critical of the issues as oppposed to politicians. 9 times out of 10, I'm writing about why this or that politician isn't discussing the critical issues of the day and then once i get on one of those sites, I start popping my mouth off about that kind of thing. Maybe not a good idea for me but a good idea generally speaking to create a Google+ thingamabob. I'll think about it.

Thanks for your update, though.

The privacy is much better than Facebook and it's a lot more versatile as well. You can have posts that are only visible to certain circles for one thing. And they don't force you to provide info. I like the way it functions much more than Facebook! Join the group and check out how Google+ works!

Hello: Learning a bit at a time in need of some education. Since it was identified that Google is part of the surveillance apparatus I do not use google for anything. How vulnerable would I be if I "join" this group. Would that mean that google will track everything I do while reading the news so they can cash in on it? I do not support that. Thank you.

Do you have the Google Chrome browser on your computer? If so, you can right click the icon and select "New Incognito Window." Internet Explorer also provides "InPrivate Browsing," which is the same thing.

Once you log out of Google+ or Gmail then there's nothing to worry about anyway. It's really not "tracking," as much as it is what most websites do when you visit certain pages and it shows you "Other Posts That Might Interest You," or what Amazon.com does when it shows you books that might interest you based on your purchases.

Please join the group to help share information and to help organize people to help Rand win the nomination and beyond at https://plus.google.com/communities/117176174801863597734
