Nope. The "anti government peeps" won't fall for it. It is targeted at the sheep (the support base) of the local militia.

I've heard that theory a few times. Seems most likely if gov't really did want to kill off the "lunatic fringe" political dissidents.



I think my strategy will be to refrain from interacting with people outside. -- This way, I don't have to change anything. ... Except - the damned grocery coupons, I usually can't use the self-checkout. At least the store is open at 2am when the store's empty less myself, a clerk, and a few other drunks.

Because those that would be an active resistance can not do so without a support base. (Local Popular Support) Food, shelter, etc.

Add to that the dissidents are a minority, and likely they will want a larger culling of the herd.

I've never gotten a flu shot, and I've never had the flu.

I had the flu either in October of last year or spring of this year (I can't remember - it all seems to be a blur).

It sucked and knocked me down for two weeks straight, but I still have no desire to get a flu shot.

Mine do too, so long as you bring them up to the person overseeing the self-checkout machines. But for a couple weeks' groceries, we use complicated coupons (i.e. buy two bottles of grape juice, get a free pint of blueberries) and "coupon doublers" -- it's less interaction just to hand them all to a cashier.

I usually agree with you but come to totally different conslusions on this scenario. Killing off the sheep is killing off their support base IMO. Plus the dissidents, albeit in varying degrees of dissidence, are becoming closer to 1/2 of the population I think. Most were/are still just confused and swayed by the propaganda as evidenced by their manipulation into voting for "end the war" Obama. However, I don't think the lessons they learned haven't been for nothing. Yesterdays Obama supporters are going to be joining us as dissidents tomorrow IMO.

P.S. I hope this is just a philisophical mental excercise as opposed to a real life scenario

PPS If it is a real life scenario then I like your version better and not so sure I wouldn't support a sheeple genocide. Get the fuck out of our way mutton!
