New Email From Ron Paul - Congressional seat only?

Other than the fact that he is specifically asking for money for his Congressional seat and not his Presidential race, the entire email refers to the Congressional seat and the very first comment...





That's not very positive encouragement from our fearless leader...

Ron Paul has never pandered to anyone, not even his supporters, for votes or money.

Fact is he faces a serious challenge to his Congressional seat, and he isn't going to lie about it.

I'll see if I can get my wife to promise not to kill me, again, and get something donated to the Congressional campaign.

Do you know anything about Wayne Gilchrest other than he's Ron's friend? I personally wouldn't lose sleep over Kucinich failing in his primary, even though he's a friend of Ron's.

Gilchrest probably shares some small-government principles with Ron, but the guy is rated F by the GOA and D- by the NRA. I can tell you that gun owners in Maryland -- a state dominated by anti-gun liberals -- are happy to see this guy go.

I'm not saying that the "neo-con replacement" for Gilchrest is going to be a good choice from an overall liberty perspective, but pro-gun Republican activists in Maryland have long resented Gilchrest for siding with the liberal/left Dems in the state on gun-control issues. Anyone getting grades like F and D- from both the GOA and NRA makes me very nervous indeed.

*I* know what neo-cons are, they know, you know, and Ron Paul knows.

*However*, that does not mean the same population that uses MSM as its sole source of information about Ron Paul has even heard the term before.
