Getting 15% in the polls so he can paticipate in the debates is something Johnson is currently trying to do.

I don't care who anyone votes for in November right now. My main goal is to get people to support Gary right now in the polls so he can get that 15% and debate Obama!!

It would be nice if RP had the nads to run third party because you know he would easily get the 15% and would be able to debate Obama, but since that ain't happening, I'm rolling with GJ!

I posted about this elsewhere -- there's roughly 3-4 weeks between the GOP nomination in Tampa and the likely date of the first presidential debate. And since he needs to meet 15% in several polls that will likely take place at least a week or two before the first debate, he has even less time.

So to say it's too soon for GJ to start campaigning hard, that's nuts. You think he can build up 15% support in 2-3 weeks???

No, he's doing EXACTLY what he needs to do, which is to start campaigning NOW.
