not fake. this particular video maybe... but there's tons of other videos out there.

i planned on trying this trick out soon thought to confirm (i don't have 4 cell phones sitting around w/ 4 other cell phones waiting to make the call).

I can't even get our 500 watt microwave to pop corn properly. (In my opinion) there's no way that four .75 watt cellphones (which aren't even transmittiing) will pop Pop-Corn in less than a minute.

I do think that the corn actually popped though. I just don't think that it was from those phones.

Well, if you filmed the scene on a giant frying pan and put the cell phones in later (trivially easy to do with photographic special effects) ...
