Never Call the Police! That's what I Taught My Kids

To be the fair, the Officers had no way of knowing that the autism kid wasn't an assassin skilled in the ancient art of Shurikenjutsu knife throwing.

I'm glad the Officers are mostly OK.

What he does not understand is that this IS the training.

Wow, wish I could rep you for posting Mike Morgan! He's an old acquaintance of mine.

If anyone likes wood processing, heavy equipment, and an old-fashioned, freedom-loving mindset, I suggest subscribing to his channel.

Oh, neat, I had no idea.

I've been watching his content for years now. That's why I wanted to repost this. He normally doesn't get "political".

That was the only comment I had on what he said: it's not that more training is needed, it is that different training is needed.

Tell him I said hello if you are still in touch

My oldest kids learned from a young age what happens when you call the police thanks to the actions of their mother, my ex wife. She made multiple false claims and false reports and basically used the police as a weapon. They eventually stopped believing her, she ended up losing custody, hasn't seen them in over 15 years and they learned to never call the cops the hard way, I didn't have to teach them. Luckily I was never shot.

Sometimes you have no choice to call the police for example if their is a death in the home even if it is a natural death. I suppose you could just bury grandpa out back and not call and keep his SS coming but it could cause trouble further down the line I suppose.

I'm sure every state is different, but you can just call the funeral home or coroner in most.

That would be an administrative issue.

I think this applies more in a "hot" or "dynamic" situation.

Try to avoid bringing cops into such a situation at all costs and understand that if you do, they are rolling up to kick ass and take people to jail.

They are not coming to help, mediate or counsel.
