Nevada is supposed to be ours. Just saw on Fox that Cain won with like 31%, Mitt was second & Gingrich was 3rd. How were we not in the top for this straw poll? Was it some super exclusive poll where no RP supporters could go?

It wasn't one we were contesting. The WRLC was essentially designed around Cain, it was just moved back from earlier this year. Ron's supporters went to the UNLV event for Ron, mostly. Cain wins all the ones we don't contest, and some we half contest. We don't want him to win because unlike Ron, he gets media for it. But he's going to win some we don't go for.

Cain actually does have support in NV right now, I just don't know how much is actually from that state rather than bused in. He is targeting caucus states just as we are. He imploded so far he wasn't much risk, and hopefully is in the process of imploding again.

they got their game on that's why they have figured out how to counter us. The repubs are as against us maybe even more than they are against Obama.

The repubs are very powerful and strong willed and they are not going to let nothing stand in their way.

I've always been GOP, I think you are generalizing a bit, there.

Cain + Gingrich = Georgia dudes!
"tight buds" = think convention!
bookish they = Voting Block!

So they mentioned that cain won a nevada straw poll but no mention of ron in ohhio?

Yeah..Ron won Ohio by a LANDSLIDE..By much more than Cain won LV. TY to the Ohio GOP who made it affordable to go support our candidates.

Our NV folks better show up in the real caucus!

Drudge is linking to an article about Cain's NV win http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/oct/21/cain-tops-field-again-nevada-gop-straw-poll/ yet nothing regarding Paul's OH win. Oh, and this is the latest defense of Cain's TARP support:
Herman Cain did not support TARP as it was passed. His major 2008 article on TARP said he supported OWNERSHIP of the banks through stock...his mistake was probably trusting the government to manage TARP. He has since clearly stated he believes the implementation of TARP was a complete failure. He is not in favor of choosing winners and losers. Ownership in a bank does not pick a winner or a failure. It is speculation of expected future performance...that is basically the way the stock market works. So it was simply applying free market principles to a larger scale (portions of the banking and auto industry in this case), brokered by the federal government. Yes, it was naive to trust the government to implement it correctly. Instead it failed at implementing it and there was much waste of taxpayer money. That is the big rub everyone is griping about, but they just don't realize it. We can all bet with Cain's laser-like focus on executive leadership and management (which Barry Hussein Obama completely lacks), that Cain would have implemented a TARP plan with much more success and no waste, truly returning a profit for taxpayers. Instead we got the waste and incessant spending binge courtesy of the most liberal, progressive socialist "regime" to hijack power away from America and Her Constitution.

Folks, if whining about TARP is the biggest complaint about Cain (and it seems to be in the top 3 out there), that's NO REASON not to vote for the man. He is by far the BEST candidate out there. A true conservative, speaking truth to power like Ronald Reagan did. He can run circles of logic around Obama all night and day long.

LET'S PUT A REAL BLACK MAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE IN 2012!!!

People better be working their own states NOW!

But if you want to see a domino effect you really want to win NV, Iowa, & NH. For NH, everyone can help by participating in PFH (phone from home). This is politics 101, as this helps the campaign collect polling data:
-ID voters' candidate preferences
-ID voters' most important issues
-ID Ron Paul supporters!

-THEN,send accurate direct-to-mail literature to voters based on their issues
-Go door to door canvassing
-contact Ron Paul supporters to go out and vote on election day
Victory!!!

But you have start at the phone bank, register here:

So he didn't understand the question then?
Perhaps but I'm starting to think that the Cain train is passing out a memo on his former TARP position to justify and/or smooth it over and trick his supporters with crafty language to hedge against this disaster in the making. It reminds me of the wiggle room talk associated with explaining 999 like, "I swear, it's revenue neutral..."

So on the same day Ron Paul wins the Ohio Straw Poll and Cain wins the Nevada Straw Poll... I wonder which one the media's going to obsessively cover.

I was AT THE DEBATE and no one ever mentioned anything about where/when to vote. This poll was total stealth, and hidden in some hotel somewhere. Many RP's supporters didn't know anything about this poll! How did you like the sentence in the article..."Ron Paul usually does well because of his groups of supporters"...(something like that). Well, his supporters didn't know where the poll was. I'm not sure how anybody knew about it! Seems like with a $150 ticket, it would be well publicized where and when to vote. Ron Paul won the straw in 2008 and it was buried! I want to know how many people voted....probably 20.

The stats indicated that 500+ people voted. How come the campaign didn't tell anyone about it? What gives? The campaign didn't know about it? Something fishy going on me thinks.
