Nevada results rolling in now!

Yes, but Democrats and Independents aren't paying as much attention yet, and we haven't started crafting a message to them. What happens when we start hammering Obama on extrajudicial assassination, habeas corpus, bank bailouts, etc.

I'm skeptical that it would drive down Obama's number to make a significant difference in our numbers or his, but, oh, how I would love to see Ron go off on that!

There is plenty of harm. If Ron runs third party it will destroy Rands chance at the presidency in 2016. Not gonna happen. This was another educational campaign to expand on the work Ron did in 2008. By all accounts this campaign has been a big success so far. He has xpanded his support in each state and has had his message continue to rech more people. This is great for Rand.

People getting upset at Ron's latest performances are getting upset for no reason. Ron knew he would not win and so did the campaign. This is about Rand. People need to understand that.

I don't know if it'll hurt Rand that much and I don't think we should be thinking about Rand. He's not the same man as his father.

He also doesn't have his age, social awkwardness, and perceived inability to compromise. I think that he is ideal.

I'm not interested in voting for someone who will "compromise" themself. And I also don't care about anyone's age or their social graces.

Why hasn't the official campaign given any updates since the Nevada counting started?

Don't forget Rand 'I won't close down Gitmo, the constitution doesn't apply to terrorists' Paul.

You should give Rand a chance XD... You have to admit that he is probably better than most of the scumbag politicians. There are some things about Rand's views that are questionable to a "Ron Paul supporter". THat is normal. It is totally normal that there is something that one disagree with on a candidate.

Only thing I am really concerned with is honesty and knowing who we are REALLY voting in. That is one reason why I like Ron Paul. He doesn't bullshit you and you can expect him to vote teh way he is going to vote. His policies are a plus, but I really like his honesty. I do see Rand is being more honest than someone like Romney or Newt. As long as Rand doesnt screw over America ON PURPOSE, I am satisfied.

If Ron Paul is not the GOP nominee, we are getting blamed for Obama's reelection. It does not matter if Ron Paul runs third party or not. It doesn't matter if he endorses the GOP nominee (which would never happen).

We are getting the blame. Period.

We need to accept that. We need to own it. Because this frees us to not care.

That said? I'd prefer we get the GOP nomination.

The age thing I could care less about, I disagree about social awkwardness, and the third point will absolutely cost Rand a ton of Ron's support. I'm not fond of Rand. I'll probably stay home if he is the only choice in 2016. If no one on the ballot matches my principles I won't vote. Simple as that. To compromise is to advocate defeat. You've defeated yourself before you ever began!

Let's be clear here: compromise does not mean working with people who do not share your particular ideological orientation. Compromise means to abdicate principle.

I'm pretty sure Rand favors racial profiling too.

"I’m not for profiling people on the color of their skin, or on their religion, but I would take into account where they’ve been traveling and perhaps, you might have to indirectly take into account whether or not they’ve been going to radical political speeches by religious leaders. It wouldn’t be that they are Islamic. If someone is attending speeches from someone who is promoting the violent overthrow of our government, that’s really an offense that we should be going after -- they should be deported or put in prison," Paul said.
Put people in prison for attending a 'radical' political speech by religious leaders. Nope, not interested in giving any money to Rand Paul.

And it's not like we won't be allowed back in the GOP if he Ron runs 3rd party. A lot of those neocons will be dead soon. The party is still going to be ours.

1. Ron Paul owns the youth vote.

2. The youth will become the future of the Republican party when they get older.

3. Ron Paul owns the future Republican Party

Not if we crash the Americans Elect caucus. Then he'll be on the ballot in 50 states no matter what happens.

might want to find out who's funding Americans Elect (hint: it may or may not be a member of one of the wealthiest banking families on the planet).

I think he was on Hannity or some other Fox News program recently and he was talking about his ordeal with the TSA. And he said something along the lines of "the 9/11 hijackers came here on student visas from countries XYZ so instead of searching grandma we need to take a look at people on student visas from countries XYZ"
