Nevada GOP hacks blame Ron Paul for loss.

I think we all know where the fault lies in the GOP's losing.

However, if these GOP hacks think Dr. Ron Paul is this powerful, perhaps they should grab him and hold onto him and make him their leader. LOL :D

BTW GOP, along with all the great, truthful comments responding to that article, a simple sense of principles and personal responsibility to the Republican philosophy, as well as adhering to the Constitution would go a long way toward solving your problems.

Hilarious article though. :D
:D:D

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."

I think this is the part where we win.

We didn't win what we set out to win, but it is a victory nonetheless.

Fuck you Nevada GOP!!

The article just shows the ignorance that comes from believing in party politics and its ability to change anything.

Sorry to break up your collectivist, brainwashed, corrupted, follow-the-leader, state-worshipping, criminal enterprise. Please send us a bill, and we will deduct it from all the damage you have done to freedom and liberty over the years since the civil war.

I'm tired of all the claptrap from these adolescent boot-lickers.

These asshats need to start listening to those in the Republican party who are now speaking out about how the Republican Party lost its way.

I have heard interview after interview after interview where Democrat AND Republican "experts" all agree that this victory was NOT a victory for the Democratic party. This victory was complete and TOTAL repudiation of what the Republican party has now become.

I had an idea about a video that would show that not only was Ron Paul right about the economy and everything else he's spoken of but also that he was right about the direction the party had taken. I heard one Republican pundit say almost word for word what Ron Paul said in one of the debates where he was accused of being "out of step" with the party. I'll find the YouTube and post the link. The Ron Paul bumper stickers need to read...

Ron Paul was right, Right and RIGHT!

There's a lot I could say about this, but instead I'll just point my finger at them and say... HA HA!!!

If the Revolution had done nothing more than instill a sense of distrust then I consider this movement a success.

Republicans should stick to their policies, our frustration is that they haven't. Republicans have become a party of BIG GOVT, BIG DEFICITS, BIG DEBT, BIG BAILOUTS and WAR.

When Republicans cut their bullshit and return to being conservative like Ron Paul, then they can return to power. Thats's how it is bitch!

QFT!

They still don't get it, THEIR POLICIES ARE SHIT! And Ron Paul simply pointed it out. DumbFucks.

Protecting Israel. Dats true conservatiff values. god save the jews! Wheres my beer.

I have spoken to one of the Nevada Patriots and have been assured that this article is completely untrue.

First off Lisa Marie is not an assemblywoman; she was a candidate and she lost.

Much of the support Obama received was also from young people. Ron Paul, had he been given proper support and coverage from the RNC and the media instead of marginalization and worse (name calling), would have been a threat to the Democrats. A couple of candidates, including Bob Beers, paid the price. Too bad...they could have behaved like real conservatives and helped to save the RNC. Sometimes, it is rewarding to be able to say, to someone like Bob Beers "I told you so." Again, I would like to salute the young people that Ron Paul so rightly reached out to...you are the ones who must carry the banner.

so let me get this straight.

They got their asses handed to them and in stead of saying "hey maybe our platform is really not what conservative Republicans want" their solution is "we need to do a better job of brainwashing people and forcing the kids to see it our way".

Somber Republicans contemplate what went wrong

Aside from the drunken slurs and grumbling following the announcement that Barack Obama was the president-elect, discussion revolved around the simple question: What went wrong?

"There has been a swing in the political pendulum," said Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons. "Both parties were seeking a win and both worked very hard, but the people have spoken."

And spoken they have, as Obama won both the electoral and the popular vote.

Some attribute Obama's success to the fact that he can relate so well to young people.

"He is a very energetic and dynamic speaker," said Nevada Assemblyman John Hambrick. "That's what the Republican Party needs more of."

In addition, some feel that the Republicans have drifted away from not only their policies, but from one another.

"I believe that Ron Paul divided this party," said Nevada Assemblywoman Lisa Marie Johnson.

"He damaged the values of this party and has instilled a sense of distrust in young voters."

"In order to reach the younger voters of not only Nevada, but of the nation, [Republicans] need to convince the people of our policy and stick to it," Hambrick said.

"We also need to cut the bulls--t and tell these kids how it is."

Despite the upset, some Republicans seem to be in high spirits and remain optimistic about their party and the state of Nevada.

"Nevada's brightest days are ahead of her," Gibbons said. "Currently renewable energy is our biggest portfolio right now. It would create tons of jobs and would remain 'recession proof.'"

Hambrick also had hope for Nevada, and the party's future.

"It's the nature of not only myself, but of all Republicans to remain optimistic. We don't run when things get tough," Hambrick said.

"We put the thinking caps on and try to find ways to better the party and the state."

Negative attention is better than no attention. ;) I disagree with that wench though. They lost because they sucked. No substance, supporting an unpopular war, you know, the usual.

HOLD YOUR HORSES. I never said the things this writer claims I said. In fact, I said the opposite - that the party was divided because they ignored the Ron Paul supporters and kept out hard working conservatives. That the huge losses we saw across the nation including the white house were precisely because the party lost its way and needed to return to its conservative roots and the will of the people. I also commented that it was time to draw in the youth whose rebel spirit could relate to the founding fathers. This goes to show that all media is corrupt.

Also, I was seated at the convention in place of another Ron Paul supporte who had already voted. All I did was uphold his decision. If you have questions, please call me at 413-2415

She posted some comments of her own, got to love politics, one never knows who to believe:

If this is true, and she's not just doing some serious backpedaling, this "newspaper" got it really wrong. I'd demand a retraction if I were her.
