This is how the regime operates, "oh, well we would have never invaded if we knew they didn't have WNDs". Total nonsense. They knew there were no weapons, but still went in for the interests of Israel. This is just the latest b.s.

This reminds me of when all the liberals started saying that the war was started for oil. That was just a coverup to divert attention from the obvious Israeli interests. If the war was really for oil, they would have done what Donald Trump said and just taken it, yet as you can see, the U.S. did not take all of that oil.

Why we went into Iraq still confuses me. But seven years after the war began, the big oil companies moved into Iraq. My two little kids live in Dubai now as their
step-father works for a major US oil company building major oil production facilities in Iraq. That's a whole other story about how I learned that a father in Texas is
really no more than a child-support payer. But it is a fact my kids live there because the major oil companies now get to produce that oil.

Before the Iraq war began, I saw a report listing nations by "number of years domestic oil reserves they had at their current production rates". US/UK were very low at
the time. The two countries who by far had largest reserve to production rate ratio were Iraq and Iran. Also, the western major oil companies were having extreme
difficulties replacing their reserves. They desperately needed more. That's what the Iraq war fixed for them. Saddam's reserves became Exxon's, Shell, BP's, Eni's,
Total's, Sinopec's, etc.

It was not done at a profit for the USA. We spent a trillion while simultaneously a few major oil companies could replace depleting oil reserves. Our government picked winners (Exxon, Shell, BP, etc) and losers (Saddam Hussein). I'm pretty sure the major oil companies paid a billion or so on politicians who then spent a trillion or so on
the Iraq war with no benefit for US citizens.

Israeli supporters surely chipped in as well. Defense industry lobby too. It was a corrupt coalition. Government auctioned services of US military forces and highest
bidders won.
