Need help with Iraq arguement

Ive got a new argument against the Iraq war to try and change Neo-con minds and I want to know the best place to try it out.
My argument is, what if the surge is working because the Terrorists want it to? Maybe they're not attacking as much so we cant wipe them all out. If they do that they can keep us in Iraq forever to spend us into oblivion. 9/11 attacked a major economic center in the US, maybe Iraq is just a continuation of the same strategy. We did the same thing to the USSR with astounding results and now its being done to us but with a fraction of the costs on their part. Hell if Iran and other Islamo fascists nations are backing the bastards they've gone to war with America while barely having to spend a dime.

Feel free to critique or offer suggestions this is just a rough draft.

Doesnt really work for the target audience, I need an argument that focuses on the terrorist are evil and they want to kill us, if we dont do this it will make it easier for the terrorist to kill us. Tell them that the FBI estimated that there were only 10,000 terrorists before we invaded Iraq, but yet over 1,000,000 have died, either they became terrorists only after we invaded their land or 990,000 innocent people died. Works good if they are Christians. Also make sure you stress that even if we wanted to fight this war we can't because we have no money and are almost bankrupt.

The plan is to be in Iraq forever. We are building 14 military bases and a huge embassy. The neocons are not looking to get out of Iraq. So in that sense the surge is working. We will need troops there forever to suppress Muslim dissent of our occupation.

You have some pretty good arguments but if you are trying to convert a neocon or any conservative pro iraq war voters I hope you are not using the same avatar and username. In my old days I would have just dismissed your aguments and those of RP as coming from someone who believes in man that killed 60 million chinese men women and children.
I am not trying to fight with you at all but if you want to target conservative voters to convert, that avatar will shoot you down.

Internet neo-cons aren't worth wasting your time on in my opinion if your goal is to make them cry uncle - to admit they have changed their mind. I prefer to ask people whether they have an open mind to understanding the history of the post-WWII radical Islamist movement, the development of modern day Conservativism, and how we have come to find ourselves in the world we face today.
