Foreign Policy: need help explaining Ron Paul's points:

discussing this on facebook, but I need to be fed foreign policy w/ a firehose like Sarah Palin, lol. I knw that Ron Paul always has a deeper answer than what most people hear, but i can only read so fast, ya know?

here's the points brought up. If y'all can help craft a reply, that would be awesome....

"Paul's history of Kennedy calling Kruschev during the cuban missile crisis and they 'worked it out' is a stunning view of events that centered on presidential fingers on the nuclear buttons and a sea war if the soviets crossed the blockade line which they almost did... by meters. His blaming the US for Iran hating the US fails to explain why radical Islam is killing people in China, the Philipeans, Iran, Pakistan, Egypt, Lybia, France around Paris, Madrid, London and Chechnya. His foreign policy ideas ignore present realities and 1,400 years of history, including the crusades, and lessons learned."

I have been finding this an excellent way to communicate a lot of RP's foreign policy in a very short amount of time.

Harry like Ron was a libertiarian presidential candidate, except Harry was much more dovish than Ron (Harry opposed the attack on Afghanistan while Ron supported it). I've found his articles on terrorism and foreign policy to be among the best libertarian anti-war arguements I can find and would highly recommend anybody interested in the subject to check them out.
