We could have a minimum wage of $25 easily if we simply embraced the truth of LVT.

Who cares what the minimum wage is, if inflation is through the roof ?

Let the employees and employers figure out how they trade services... Labor vs compensation. Let them figure it out.
I'd much rather discuss my compensation with 'mr. evil employer' then have them mandated by the government, no thanks.

I wonder what the minimum wage would be if the value of welfare given for someone working at minimum wage is included? I guaruntee the guy in the 1960s was getting less in government welfare.
