North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is facing calls to resign after a video emerged of him calling "transgenderism" and homosexuality "filth."

Robinson, a Republican, said students should not be taught about "transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth" in classrooms, prompting calls for his resignation as administrators and parents battle over the oversight of school curricula.
“There’s no reason anybody, anywhere in America should be telling children about transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth,” Robinson said in the video, which was filmed in June at Asbury Baptist Church. “And yes, I called it filth.”

Well, it is filth. And has no place being taught in schools with taxpayer money. Morals should be taught at home. Schools should teach academics. Math. Reading. Science. Not homosexuality acceptance. Not church stuff. Not white shaming.

There was an event in new Bern NC at a park- Hugs from Moms- except it’s not actually moms- they are drag queens, wanting to hug children. What a disgusting public show of pure filth. Why would a child need a hug from a cross dresser? Why is this celebrated by media when most of the residents in this town consciously made a decision NOT to go to the park that day?

People should be able to call it what it is.

In principle Freedom of Speech is great but question is why no high ranking official of any political party during Obama-Trump years exercised such FoS but now at least couple of major headlines that show significant deviation from political rules established over last 12 years.

There were some outlandish comments on social media even suggesting that some right wing conservative Christians may have been bolstered after Taliban government coming to power in Afghanistan. That seems far less likely a factor even than Biden "conservativism" dynamic despite some recent headlines like these:
