NBC pulls Ron Paul's last embed reporter.

LMAO!

So a failing network that requires tax payer govt. bailouts (thefts) to keep transmitting and has fewer viewers than your typical YouTube celebrity is no longer going to report on the news story of the decade.

.... NBC is a ship sailing from irrelevance to obscurity. :-) Bye Bye NBC.

Read this is you would like to understand how 5 companies that produce virtually every movie, every television program, every major new magazine, and most commercial music controls the collective concious through technology and modern tools and understanding of human psychology.

hells yea

No, it's because that is all Ron is doing. Intermittent events here and there in large venues, typically at Universities...what is there to cover, he doesn't modify his speech, he doesn't try to educate in a new way...why >> would the news outlets cover him?? He doesn't provide 'read meat' for the media and he doesn't attack Obama or the other candidates...

^^ THIS

What else is NBC going to report on? Kardhasian divource settlement? Justin Bieber pulling a cruel prank on Swift?

Really..

Haha. And now members true colors start to show.

I have to call BS.

When he won Straw Polls 3:1 vs all other candidates combined: Ron will get no coverage and like it.

When he tied for 1st in the Iowa Straw Poll...

"There is a new Top Tier; Bachmann, Perry and Romney". Ron Paul? Yeah, no coverage for you.

When polls had RP in 1st and likely to win the Iowa Caucuses: "Santorum S-U-R-G-E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When it was clear there was vote count insanity involving RP counties, you'd think that would be world headline news. Yeah, "Did Romney win by 8 votes, or did Santorum win by 20 votes?" Ron Paul? No coverage.

RP draws record crowds. More attend than all of the other candidate's rallies and speeches COMBINED. RP draws "Massive Crowd" at College of Chaleston in SC. Gingrich cancels his event at the same venue due to NOBODY showing up. That wasn't a story?

The list is endless.

Gadfly my ass.

That's not what I'm talking about. What's he done lately that's newsworthy? He's not winning elections, and the fact that he's drawing on huge crowds on college campuses is hardly news when it's the norm.

This. Ron had a TON of times he should have gotten media bumps and didn't, particularly being the only grass roots candidate. Sure the campaign made mistakes, all do, and every choice for spending is a choice against something else. But the fact is, Ron hasn't been treated fairly. There are even multiple studies that show this. The question is, can we either change that, or change the system so they don't have the kind of power to make that so important?

I had actually met Anthony. Great guy. It is up to NBC what stories they publish and what videos they show. Memory tells me Anthony was fair and honest in Iowa. He was also blown away by the amount of support Paul was drawing by his impressively large crowds.
I concur. I had several conversations with him, and many in the Campaign told me they thought of him as family :o

The mainstream media ignored 26,000 people who packed Madison Square Garden in 1999 who came to hear Ralph Nader.

They are treating Ron Paul just like he's a third party candidate.

Does anyone have any questions about what will happen if Ron Paul decides to run as a Libertarian or Constitution Party candidate?

Hint; If you think he's ignored now, you haven't seen nothing yet (pun intended)

Not without winning elections we can't. Other than that, the old media is going to be obsolete soon enough - TV is a dying medium. The problem is that we don't have much luck in controlling the internet memes either.

They never made it a media issue to begin with, so it isn't KNOWN to be the norm except in a 'despite his crowds' dismissive way. 4500 people in Michigan was newsworthy. Some ran news on it -- only AFTER the Michigan primary. Idaho similar. It isn't now, it is throughout. They didn't run what was newsworthy so he had a fair chance at a bump. NOW is a result of that.

I think we do ok with the internet. Not controlling it, but getting an alternative out there so those at all interested will know there are two sides.

I'm not sure which sarcastic response is better:

No reporters?? I guess they're going to start blacking him out.

or

Wait.. he used to have embedded reporters?? WHY THEY HELL HAVE THEY NEVER REPORTED ON HIM!!

They may as well stop paying the guy to travel around and report-on-nothing, for NBC this is a cost savings, for his coverage nothing changes.

Anthony Terrell had a pretty good feed on Twitter.

If you're right, and the media should have fawned over every move Paul made and didn't - it's still the campaign's fault for not figuring out how to get past that. Winning an election would have helped.
