and HA! my Rep Berman didn't vote no. Need to look at clerk report and find out if he actually voted yes or 'present', thus raising the threshold for passage, though.

EIGHT Representatives cosponsored HR 459 but voted AGAINST the bill:

Rep Conyers, John, Jr. [D-MI-14]

Rep Kaptur, Marcy [D-OH-9]
Rep McDermott, Jim [D-WA-7]
Rep Reyes, Silvestre [D-TX-16]
Rep Rothman, Steven [D-NJ-9]
Rep Stark, Fortney Pete [D-CA-13]
Rep Woolsey, Lynn [D-CA-6]

My my.

How could they possibly more transparently expose themselves as shills?

I did 4 sets of tweets, two names each on it. Hopefully people will remember.

I'd bet they are all up for reelection. If they plan on coming back next year and want a decent committee seat, they will follow their leadership.

well, I plan to do my best to make sure the CA ones, at least, find the election comes first, and don't make it that far.

Another list.

22 Reps cosponsored HR 1207 in 2009 but voted against HR 459, which are the same bills. Asterisks are repeat offenders (cosponsoring both HR 1207 and HR 459).

Rep Chu, Judy [D-CA-32]
Rep Conyers, John, Jr. [D-MI-14]*
Rep Davis, Danny [D-IL-7]
Rep Edwards, Donna [D-MD-4]
Rep Fudge, Marcia [D-OH-11]
Rep Hinchey, Maurice [D-NY-22]*
Rep Johnson, Eddie Bernice [D-TX-30]
Rep Johnson, Hank, Jr. [D-GA-4]
Rep Kaptur, Marcy [D-OH-9]*
Rep McDermott, Jim [D-WA-7]*
Rep Miller, Brad [D-NC-13]
Rep Reyes, Silvestre [D-TX-16]*
Rep Rothman, Steven [D-NJ-9]*
Rep Ryan, Tim [D-OH-17]
Rep Sarbanes, John [D-MD-3]
Rep Schakowsky, Janice [D-IL-9]
Rep Shuler, Heath [D-NC-11]
Rep Slaughter, Louise [D-NY-28]

Rep Woolsey, Lynn [D-CA-6]

Are they in "safe" CD's. Typically what I have seen is that those who are facing a tough reelection fight will vote the way the people want (in this case "yes"), but those who are safe will follow the leadership.

Napolitano CA-38...extremely disappointing...

I knew in my gut from day one that she wouldn't support it but kept calling. Now she will feel the wrath of ME campaigning for her early retirement. GOOD LUCK GRACE.

These are some smart ass politicians. Its a win win for them. They will say they cosponsored and supported Ron Paul's great bill to conservatives but will say they voted against this evil bill to the liberals.

I thin Conyers wins with 90% of the vote usually. Not many conservatives there LOL. But I get your point.

Yes! And Ron Paul gets to leave Congress more than just a disconcerted Paul Revere. WE THE PEOPLE, have in fact taken notice! As yet if that were not enough, as a major, super momentous bonus Ron Paul still stands to make a grand distinction for POTUS succeeding the 2012 Presidential election! Yea for our LIBERTY BELL, as such is still our grand American iconic symbolism.

Mr. "President" Barry Soetoro (Barack H. Obama, or whoever in the hell you think that you are), we want you OUT, we want you GONE; yet most of all WE THE PEOPLE want you SAFELY LOCKED AWAY IN PRISON, for purposes of our NATIONAL SECURITY of course!
