No one who unilaterally rules a government deserves credit in any regard, including people who use military power to squelch peaceful protests. If you follow #Libya on twitter there are plenty of average libyan citizans that live outside of the blackout zone that are constantly updating about what is going on in Libya. It's fairly obvious what the situation is.

If you want to start spouting crazy conspiracy theories and discredit this fine forum by making us all seem like a bunch of loons, then fine. How about this for a conspiracy theory? I'm not justifying an invasion of Libya or use of force against a sovereign nation. I think that is wrong. But I also think glorifying an evil man and vilifying a population that wants nothing but freedom is some warped neo-con bizzaro world BS.

I mean seriously, you are basically implying that NATO, the CIA, and Al-qaeda are in cahoots. Are you for real?

If you support Ron Paul, then you understand that this kind of blanket islamophobia is inherently wrong. You can't assume that just because people in the ME are fighting against their governments that they are therefore terrorists or al qaeda. We had the right to our American Revolution. They have the right to theirs.

What about Egypt, Algeria, Yemen, Syria? Are they all terrorists too? Or are they simply people who are fed up with the puppet governments installed and propped up by our imperialistic intentions?
