If you're unaware of this movement, it is seeking to subvert the electoral college by awarding all state votes to the National Popular Vote winner. So if half the states pass this legislation then we have "de facto" direct election of the president. If you don't write to or call your state reps at least be aware of who supports and who opposes these measures.
