It's not that they won't let them handle it, it's that the state is aiding and abetting the invaders and criminals, and most certainly refusing to handle the riots.

And I suppose you think the "protest" is fiery but mostly peaceful, just people having fun watching cars burn.

California has no desire to seceded, they are engaged in aiding and abetting the invasion and conquest of the whole union.
Whether they would be allowed to secede or should be allowed to do so is irrelevant because they don't even desire it.
They are engaged in treason and the Federal government has every right to put down the invasion and insurrection.

Invasion is a federal matter, it is foreign affairs.
California has no right to invite a foreign invasion unless it wants to secede, which it doesn't.

The troops already landed on the beachhead are being activated to reopen the gates by overthrowing the government and preventing the removal of the 50 million invaders already here.

I've been posting here for more than 10 years, you should know better. Plus I said I was totally against the riots and what they stand for.

I think Trump missed an opportunity here. He could've said "we want to help stop the rioting but newsome won't let us".
