Nate Silver has Ron Paul in 3rd in S.C with 16.4% (possibly as high as 30%)

Not wishful thinking... Maybe precognition, or intuition, something like that.... Ron has now seen for himself that he can win the nomination, and having had that realization, he has decided that he will do it. With our help he will own SC by this time next week.

I think you're definitely right about Ron. After Iowa he seemed really pleased to see another big sign that people are waking up finally to the message of freedom. His confidence and happiness then seemed to be the sort of knowing that the future of liberty is in good hands. After New Hampshire though, I immediately noticed an even more profound shift in his demeanor. He knows he can win.

i hope more lobbyist will waste their money in donating to newt campaign or newt's super pac where he clearly has a very low chance in winning... but we need newt to continue the onslaught and clawing at romney.

*sarcastically* heck... i think we should donate money to newt just so newt can do the dirty work for ron (assuming newt doesnt start going after ron) and keep bashing romney.

newt's superpac has plenty of ammo.and he has promised to waste it all on romney.we need to focus on santorum and do all positive ads: veterans, compassion, and probably one about saving ss and med -nice time now that the fed's incompetence is available for all to see thanks to the transcripts from 2006.

Ron Paul definitely seemed surprised at the support he has gained recently when he gave his speech at the New Hampshire Primary. Ron has to keep in good spirits and his campaign has to keep rolling along. It is definitely great news that the campaign is gaining support and that will continue.

Now on to SC...!

It will be difficult for Ron Paul to win (just given on how ultra-conservative the state is), but I think he will compete very strongly and finish in the top three.

In my opinion, it would be best for the campaign to focus on talking points such as balancing the federal budget an promoting states rights. But the campaign knows what they're doing and understands how to promote their candidate -- just a couple of ideas I had.

we can partially thank newt gingrich when we win the nomination.

I think Newt knows that SC is his last stand after very weak performances in IA and NH. If he doesn't win the Palmetto state it will be over for him, partially because Florida is solid Romney and winner takes it all, partially because he doesn't have the organisation and money to come back in the February caucuses. So to say that "the Romney-bashing" is purely out of anger is to simplify it a bit.
