Don't forget "Fooled by Randomness" the other book by Taleb. It's the book that has most influenced my thinking about corporate management, business success, stock traders, politicians, etc.

I was expecting hoping for Ron Paul to be a black swan, but this has yet to materialize.

If you've read Black Swan, you'd know that he'd be a RP supporter. Dude loves Hayek.

I really think Black Swan should be included in the pantheon of Austrian thought. In many ways, its an extension of Hayek's ideas, as the very existence of Black Swans is a huge argument against central planning.
