Nashville Paper Omits RP from Voter Guide (with contact info)

Thanks for the info Matt!! I just left a 'less than cordial' message for Mr. Silverman regarding the blatant censorship of their supposed 'news' paper in omitting a candidate who has already received thousands of votes, placed 2nd in Nevada and Louisana and had raised MILLIONS of dollars for his campaign. I also left my name and phone number for him to call, if he wishes, to discuss with me the reasons for my ire. --- I seriously doubt that I'll be hearing back from him, however...

That's my point - don't demand answers to "WHY", demand correction in tuesday edition and confirmation for it.

I just got this from a meet-up in knoxville

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Dear xxxxx,

I am a Precinct Leader in Morristown, Tennessee. I work in
Knoxville and have a subscription to E. W. Scripps' Knoxville
News-Sentinel. In today's paper, 2/3/8, the same article that
appeared in The Tennessean which gave the issues and the
Presidential Candidates views was in the New-Sentinel. This
article showed all candidates, with the omission of Ron Paul.
I have decided to cancel my subscription to the newspaper. I
am not going to financially support a news media who does not
allow me and all citizens the Freedom to choose from all
candidates. I am writing you to encourage all Ron Paul
supporters to cancel their subscription to a media that is not
doing their job, reporting the news accurately and fairly.
Maybe hitting them in the pocketbook will help them understand
that the American public will no longer stand for this type of
behavior.
As a side note, this is a huge sacrifice for me as it is a
part of my daily routine, but I have to make a stand for
freedom! Thanks for the opportunity to share this with your
meet up group.

Call Tenn Paper Night Editor NOW - Demand CORRECTION!

Call the Tennessean night editor RIGHT NOW and demand a correction to run in tomorrow's paper. We only have a couple of hours before their deadline.

The gentleman's name is Jerry Manly and he is in charge tonight at the Tennessean. He will tell you he doesn't have the authority to run a correction, however please demand that he get on the phone and obtain that authority. Remember to be polite and courteous as our actions represent Ron Paul.

615-259-8000 is the main number (go to the news department)

After you have spoken with him ask to be put through to John Gibson (extension 8025) who is the editor in charge of the editorial section. He will not be in his office until Monday but we can leave him voicemail.

IF WE DON'T ACT RIGHT NOW millions of Tennesseans may not ever get to read about Ron Paul. This is our last shot.
