The sun has lowered activity due to sequestration cuts. Solar output is higher than it was last year, but lower than anticipated. It is in cahoots with Obama and his minions. Stupid low information Sun.

FARSIDE EXPLOSION: An active region on the farside of the sun exploded during the early hours of March 5th, hurling a bright CME into space. Cameras onboard the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) recorded the expanding cloud:

Heard one of the local HAMs the other day mention a ginormous solar explosion. He said he was glad it had blown away from earth.
