I beg the MODS to keep this thread in grassroots where it will be seen by the most people.

I knew they were lying like everybody else here, but until I saw this I never had something REALLY SOLID to counter punch with when the issue came up online.
As I have not seen this yet and I visit this forum everyday, I assume it might have been posted but removed to Hot Topics.
This really needs to stay here so more people can see it, and use it to defend the issue when and if it comes up.

Disagree. It's a non-issue and should be treated like a non-issue. The people who bring this up as an objection to voting for RP are by and large people who wouldn't ever vote for RP and just want to make him look bad.

If you run into people that you believe are serious about wanting to vote for RP but have a problem with this, feel free to rebut it, but we shouldn't be advertising the issue at all.

Edit: But I agree that this video clip is great for rebutting all this stuff, my objection is just that we shouldn't be keeping this s**t alive.

What a shame that someone who isn't Ron Paul wrote things with Ron Paul's logo on it and caused Ron Paul so much trouble.

At least now that people have analyzed who published it we know who wrote that newsletter or was most likely to have written it.

This issue seems to be going away now. If they continue to ask RP about it, he could tell them that Fox 19 Cincinnati found the name of the person. Other than that, perhaps he should wait until he gets the nomination to really out the guy (before the Dems bring it up again).

This is the strategy guide that he wrote, it has his name in the byline. These aren't the "racist" ones, those either contained no byline or it was cut off. As far as I'm concerned nothing has changed, but if it makes people feel better, thats good.

What do you mean no evidence?

The evidence is:
- The one and only racist newsletter with publishing information has been traced back to James B. Powell
- James B. Powell's writing style is strikingly similar to the other racist newsletters
- The timeline matches up perfectly to James B. Powell

So most likely it's James B. Powell...

No, Ron Paul supporters need to know, so they can run an adequate defense against MSM propaganda BS online.
I just found about this tonight from another website that has many Ron Paul supporters too, to me it's good news that gives us a good defense of Ron IF we need it.
It made me sick to see Ron Paul slandered, but I really couldn't say anything other than they are lying.
Now if somebody says something, you post this video and the compassion video, case closed, game over.
