Nader Considering Run-Will We Lose Any People to Him?

Nader? English isn't my 1st language, but the word "shill" is the closest when I think of that man.
Same goes for Chomsky in that matter...

The fact that he didn't come out for Ron Paul started to make me think he might just be a "shill", but he does have some pretty big disagreements with RP's philosophy of government.

And he does have a platform far different from that of the Democratic Party candidates - so how do you know he is just a "shill"?

Good man. Honest. He is against Corporatism and the two party system.

Only problem is he thinks government can solve the nation's ills. He is a "true believer" in liberalism. In a better political system the general election would feature Ron Paul vs Ralph Nader and we would have a REAL debate over the extent to which government should be involved in our lives. In such a scenario I could actually respect BOTH candidates but would work like hell to get RP elected. In our current political system it appears I will respect NEITHER the Republican or Democtratic nominee. Sad... :(

Good post. Thanks!

He will be on Tim Russert MSNBC today at 11:00am Central to say if he's running or not, i wont lie but if he runs and Ron Paul is out or not on the ballot i will probably vote for him, anything to screw McWar or Osama as i assume Hitlary should be out by that time..

I really thing the Ron Paul movement should look into working WITH Nader on certain issues...

1. Corporatism
2. Middle East Foreign Policy
3. Opening up Third Party Opportunities (Ballot Access & Debate Reform)

Yes, he's running, now I have to research him. I'll post all the negative articles I can find.

How does Nader get so much press attention?

why does Nader have so many supporters? or does he? i'm thinking this is another bigger picture "chess move" in the game of presidential candidates this year and it would be good to know what Nader is up to.

I think Ron is great, but Ralph has promised to run for president.... Ron has only promised to run for a presidential hopeful :(

Could you please explain what you're talking about when you say "Ron has only promised to run for a presidential hopeful???"

I think he mean that to run as a President on Republican ticket, Ron Paul first has to win the nomination at convention. Nader, OTOH, basically owns Green party so he get nomination from Green party and therefore is running for President right now.

(IOW, even McCain isn't running for president.)

Ron Paul has committed himself to only running for a Party Nomination, and not to run third party.

I personally like knowing that Ralph is getting out there and saying both parties are corrupt and not even trying to run as part of the two parties. This give me a clear third choice if it comes down to McCain and Obama or Hillary... But believe me if Ron says he will run Libertarian, Ron gets my vote!!!!!!
