Mystery Missile Launch Seen off Calif. Coast (video)

Eh, honestly I can't say that I buy the idea it was a Chinese nuclear sub. China has done plenty of posturing itself already, is it out of the question for the U.S to do its own posturing? It could've been a small fraction within the government too, not the main one.

As for the Navy and Military saying that it wasn't theres and wasn't foreign as well. Remember that there are military factions within the United States that are not on paper. Don't discount them.

Because the gov't doesn't want the public to know about these kinds of things. Anything the gov't doesn't control, it tries it's best to conceal it from the public.

I don't either. The Chinese are not in the business of provoking the beast by launching an ICBM 30mi off the coast. It's got to be one of ours.

Ok, so they asked the Navy if they launched anything and they said no..

They asked the Air Force if they launched anything off Vandenburg, and they said not since Friday (which is the missile launch I witnessed last week)

The theory is that the Air Force launched something off of San Nicholas Island, which is a missile launch site just off the coast. That seems like a likely option to me.

I would like to know if they are tracking it and where it went or is going.

Yeah, this whole thing stinks, and that was a BIG frickin missile.

Its pretty telling how no one is questioning exactly why our .gov doesn't know where this came from. ORLY??? Someone just launches a Big Frickin Missile (BFM) right off of one our most populous cities, and you simply "dont know" where it came from???
The sheeple willingly give up freedom after freedom for security, yet rare is the day when the .gov's abysmal track record with providing said security is brought up.

Had some neo-con get pissy with me the other day with the whole "you should thank Bush for keeping you safe for those 8 years....". He started in heavy with the ad hominems and eventually stormed off yelling and screaming at me after I asked who was President on 9/11, and if that fell within the 8 yr time period we were "safe"

Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

That would explain the Navy not knowing .

Best Case Scenario: U.S. Military test that was done by one group and the message never made it to everyone. This would however show a complete lack of leadership, and communication within our own military.

Worst Case Scenario: I don't want to think it.... keep in mind that no one in America knew anything about the Cuba Missile nightmare for a week, and all the facts and how close to doom we were was only made public after 40 years.
