This country needs a march!
True, but more importantly, I think we need it. We must realize that this is about more than just getting one man elected as president. This a movement to restore adherence to the Constitution. And from the looks of things around here lately, the movement is on the ropes.
Sure, there will always be the die-hards who never quit, but there are many who are falling away due to discouragement and a sense of hopelessness after this past month. The fire of this movement, which blazed so brightly just a few short months ago, is now struggling. Don't get me wrong, that flame will never go out as long as there is life in me and in many of you who refuse to give up or give in to negativity, but there is no doubt that we need something right now to help re-energize us.
And I think that this march can do exactly that. Imagine it. Maybe hundreds of thousands of us, if not more, coming together for one moment in time to symbolically if not literally shout out to the powers that be that we are here, we see what they are doing, and we're NOT going away. And at that moment, we as individual members of this cause get to see that not only are we not alone in this fight, but that we are many.
RP laid the foundation of this movement, this march idea has the potential to solidify it permanently and rejuvenate the fight not only for this election, but for every election from here on out. From the presidency all the way down to local dog catcher. Once we see with our own eyes our numbers and our strength we will know without a doubt that nothing is beyond our reach.
