So I wasn't a big fan of the blimp at first. I've reconsidered these past few days, especially with all the press we've been getting (I'd hate to see this fail). I still needed one final push before I pulled out the bank card and donated.

I'm sitting at the laptop when one of my girls walks over and look at the screen. I'm already on ronpaulblimp.com. She points to the blimp and asks, "Is that a blimp? That's pretty awesome. Sissy come here and look at the blimp."

Her sister runs over and goes, "Oh boy, it's a blimp!" I tell them it's a RON PAUL blimp and they both start doing the "Ron Paul" dance, which is basically screaming Ron Paul's name while you have what any doctor would think is a seizure. Gotta love three year olds.

So I did $5 for each of my daughters. I know, only $10 bucks. No big deal. Probably not post worthy, but whatever. :p If you wanna see them in action, check out the vid in sig. It's them fighting over a Ron Paul yard sign. Good stuff.

This is going to be a kid magnet. And kids always manage to get thier parents to look at something.

Your toddlers use "awesome"?

That's what made me donate. I think that's maybe the second time I've heard one of them say that. Kids pick up everything from mom & dad, which is why I never swear around them. Don't need any of that from them!

The only reason they knew it was a blimp is because they saw one over the summer flying by our house. Like most women, they never forget anything. So they immediately recognized the blimp in the pictures.

That is a great story and every amount helps. I too thought the kid WOW factor would be huge. By promoting where it is going to be, people will be watching for it all over. I can see the headlines Productivity plummets in (enter city name) as people are watching out their window for the blimp!

Kids for the Blimp. All the kids in New Hampshire are going to want to see the blimp in person.

My 9yr Old Loves It

My 9 yr old son saw my checking out blimp pics last night. He walks up behind me and says, "Is that a Ron Paul Blimp?" I said it was and he did what he does nowadays when he's excited about something. He held up his right hand and said, "Yes! High-fiver!" :)

I may take him out of school so he can see it flying over head if it comes anywhere near Tidewater Virginia. Kids will LOVE it!

Wow, those are some smart three year olds if they can talk in complete sentences like that.

Yup, it's been like that for well over 6 months. They turn 4 in February and are definitely acting the part. Having kids that talk all the time is a blessing and a curse. They tell you want they want, which is great. The only problem is they never stop talking! Sometimes daddy needs some peace and quiet, but I won't get that at home. Thankfully, it's quiet at my work.

Direct proof that a Ron Paul presidency would cause violence.

HEHE I can't even say that with a straight face.. Very cute :)

You need two signs!

Greetings All,

That was a great video of your twins, thanks for sharing.

They're sweet at that age, Mandrik, except when they're beating on each other! Or maybe even then! :D

At the other end of the age spectrum, my middle son is going to college and has a good part time job. I've been gently talking up the campaign for a couple of weeks.

He just bought some blimp time last night, and is ready for the upcoming Tea Party. He's walking around as I type this, singing the Ride of the Valkyries from the promo video.

Am I proud? Of course I'm proud!
