My thoughts on the Blimp funding....

I don't get it. It may be my older age, but I feel a blimp is dumb. I would rather see bilboards, and TV comersials. Blimps have never made me buy anything.

Blimmps are fun toys and attract the youthful side of people, like seeing a kite with a banner attached.

Planes with a big banner will do more than a blimp and cheeper.

Run the campaign the way you should run the presidency with spending controls and logic.

I think the blimp pays for itself in public/media exposure and is cool.

Planes dragging a banner don't get free coverage on CNN but the blimp did. Goodyear, Fuji, and the U.S. Navy disagree with you that blimps are dumb. Fuji tripled their market share after flying a blimp over the 1984 Olympics, so apparently people do buy things after seeing a blimp.

I am sorry to hear that the blimp folks still owe the airship company money. I thought they should have returned home a week ago.
