My Professor on Israel & Hagel

What? Last time I checked Ron Paul's position was that Israel should fight her own damned battles. In fact, Paul's position is pretty much the exact opposite. He doesn't want us bombing Iran for Israel. Iraqi nuclear plants didn't even exist, so I'm not sure what he's on about there.

I think it was when Israel bombed Iran (or iraq i forgot) nuclear power plant. All the congressmen condemned israel for it, but Ron supported Israel by saying Israel has the right to do what they need to do to survive by themselves.

The latter. As I recal, he said they have to decide their own actions and take their own consequences as a sovereign nation.
