I don't see a rail on this gun. You can get the Picatinny rail for the AK and SKS, but they fasten to the side of the gun.

No, I mean it has the side rail on the receiver for that to mount up. A lot of builds don't come with it; I know Vectors don't. You can get nice Belorussian optics that mount right up to it as well

the foregrip mounted rails aren't bad, but there are rails that replace the top dust cover, and those rarely hold their zero. The cover is just too instable.


btw, that looks like a kvar nato-length stock set. Once you go NATO length, you'll never want to go back to stock (unless you're small).

and the best mod I for the AK in my opinion is the red-star trigger.

Uh, guys...

you might want to consider getting rifles in a caliber that is more common to the country and possibly scroungable for when really needed.

The SAR-3 is an AK variant that uses the 5.56 or .223 round and I have seen them perform well in competition.
