I thought we would be at 17% in NH. I really thought we would beat Guliani handedly. Non of the up coming states give me any hope except for NV. For some reason I have a feeling that we will do extremely well in NV. Maybe it's because it's the silver state. I really think that it's more the image I have of people that live in NV. No state income tax. Oh well, keep on truckin.

I'm canvassing in Nevada, and there are some Ron Paul supporters, and no one else gives a shit about any other candidates. How does McCain get all those votes? He's the amnesty guy from this summer, remember? Who goes out in the snow and votes for these morons? Can this really be true? I would like to think that Americans aren't this stupid, and that the vote was rigged, but let's face it. Either way, we're screwed.

New Hampshire voted for McCain, the warmonger. I guess the people there are very nostalgic about the Vietnam War and only hope that the Iraq War can do it justice.

Did anyone hear his supporters chanting "U.S.A." while he spoke tonight? It was frightening.

The bottom line is that New Hampshire is out of touch with this country. It's 2008, not 2000. Why are they sporting the political fashions of 8 years ago?

NH is not full of Independents......its full of Moderate socialists

If you expect Paul just to dominate and knock off the bigger guys who are the heartland crooks of America then your overshooting. I know politically you would think it doesn't look good, and honestly I thought NH would be different because it is a more independant state and for alot of people who are independant Paul is their choice as well. I was wrong.

Thing is Thompson won't last much longer, Hunter won't last much longer, with a little luck Guliani won't last although they are calling FL his turning point. Huckabee and Romney are going to lead into the home stretch and every person that we can turn onto Paul we need to. Supporters of these other candidates when they drop out we need to work to get them on the Paul support wagon. I have talked to about 20 different people who for whatever insane reason support Obama, but say if he were out of it that Paul would be their guy. Yet another light at the end of the tunnel. If for some reason Obama gets knocked out then there are potential millions more to bring back from the dark side.

I want to see him win every state, I also know that 1 win will be tough to accomplish especially in the north east. Texas, Nevada, The Carolina's are all possible to win if we and he push hard. You have to take into consideration that Paul gets either no media coverage or bad media coverage most of the time. Its going to get worse before it gets better and hopefully Paul will tough it out. I have already donated once and if he has the will then come tax time I will donate again. It took a while for people to catch onto him, and more and more are daily. The further he goes the stronger his support will be and the more he will have to be recognized.

8% us lower than what I thought we would get, I was expecting 10-12% but NH is is a weird state in primaries at times. Lets push on and take what we have and build on it. Do not get discouraged do not think that its a bad sign. The media and every candidate wants us and Ron Paul to beleive that nobody cares about him. 8% of NH cares, and when November comes there are millions of us that may not have a say in these primaries that will have something to say and it will be a big message for the future of this country.

Free state project failed.

Unreal.

The impossible has just happened.

Well, we still need that 23 million.

No, HQ failed. The did absolutely nothing to target anti-war voters and independents- two groups that should have been ours almost by default. They instead focused on trying to appeal to "mainstream Republicans"- and in doing so failed to do anything to attract what would have been a much more receptive audience.

The Free State Project is an activist movement- the idea has never been to have enough people to actually swing elections. The FSP did not fail, and I resent you stating that it has. It's done more to advance liberty on the state/local level than any other libertarian group in the country, and has the potential to do a lot more.

Ron Paul doesn't give up.

He takes their slings and insults and fights for us.

can we let him down?

hell no.

the south will rise!

I truly had hope for NH success. Tonight's result is quite the bitter pill. I always had thought of those NH folks as sensible and well educated. To not realize the effect of the Iraq war on our nation, both from a fiscal and foreign relations viewpoint astounds me. I won’t even start to mention the lives lost and shattered.

I know that we rant and rave about the MSM and their role in quieting Dr. Paul's message; I think that's very true. (I’ve lived in two totalitarian nations and can smell censorship a mile away.)

The American people have become too comfortable- or possibly, lazy to do their homework. It's easier to be spoon-fed than to grow your own food. Why read when you can get a 30 second sound byte and be done with it? I firmly believe that’s what has happened tonight. Running for President has for some time been part Barnum & Bailey and part Liberace. Screw the message it’s how you sell it. No one knows the difference because they won’t take the time to see past the smoke and mirrors.

Why is it that that the nation with the greatest ability to affect its form of government takes the least effort to research its options? Why bother to learn about other nations-- hell, even know where they even are on a map? Tonight is just another depressing commentary on the MSM lemming society that our nation has become. How sad. Where's that cliff folks?

I’m going to continue to play my role in the revolution because I firmly believe that Dr. Paul’s message is true and I know what’s at the bottom of that proverbial cliff.

Sorry to ramble.

The Free State Project has done way more than any whiney ass on these forums. Kudos to them.

I say Kudos to the campaign too. I have faith in them and Ron Paul.

Could not have said it any better myself. I like the fact that I am surrounded by intelligent people on this forum, even though I disagree with quite a few.

It might have helped if RP supporters hadn't made it a practice of being rude, crude and totally unacceptable.

You want higher vote totals?

Simple.

Don't be an ******* when campaigning for RP.

Looking at the statistics of hand vs. machine counted votes (http://ronrox.com/paulstats.php) it may be that Ron Paul has been stripped of the votes just enough to be behind neo-con darling Benito. Interestingly, it doesn't appear that machines helped Benito. They helped Flip.

People really still don't understand what the wars are about. Some people still think that we are getting something out of this war (like robbing outers for our benefit). People do not realize that this is a racket for which they are paying.

The Free State Project hate must stop. Whoever is blaming them has no idea what they are talking about. The FSP is in its absolute infancy. Its just starting up. Its the long term plan for liberty.
