I really felt like we had a chance to end the military industrial complex which I was born into. I remember being told to hide under a desk during the Cuban Missile Crisis. I remember JFK being shot, MLK, Bobbie. You young people don't know how that felt. We knew something had shifted, but we didn't know how it would end.

I thought this was a chance, our chance. I cut school to protest against the Vietnam war, put everything aside because we had no quarrel with the Vietcong.
I was wrong, Bell Helicopter did...........$$$$$$$$$$$

My God when will people wake up and rip the veil from these bastards who rule us?

They won't, its just the next IPOD junk.
Ain't no angel gonna greet me.
Who wins the game controls the most worthless junk.

We are all here for different reasons. Regarding foreign policy, I had a moment tonight that made me smile. I had told my wife a number of occasions about my support of Ron Paul - foreign policy, limited government, the issue of blowback.

She put up with my ramblings, but never bought in to the blowback stuff. Tonight we watched the movie 'The Kingdom' and they made several references to attacks being caused because we are there. She paused the movie after one reference and said, that sounds a lot like what Ron Paul has been saying. She understands.

What I am trying to say is for me it is the message. One more person in America gets what he is saying. She will inevitably talk to her parents and maybe one day they will get it. She talked about how we would fill if China was in America patrolling the streets.

Anyways, you are ultimately correct that most ppl do not think three moves ahead in chess. If they take your pawn, you take theirs. Just thought I would share one person tonight who now gets it. I am not sure if I or her completely agree with everything RP will say, but it is a far cry from what is being pushed on the Republican side of the fence these days.

i know how you feel my heart has felt like its been broken for years but now i think ron pauls candicady has helpted me to put it back together. lol its like my heart was a broken vase and ron paul had the gluegun of truth that i needed to fix it! seriously though dont get your spirits down yet we have a long way to go and with the community of people we are assembling we are sure to educate and change the world!!!!!!
