We had planned to chant President Paul, Remember Maine but that didn't go off too well...we were all scattered so it wasn't easy.

It was funny, when Jay was standing with Ron, kevin hart, and the band to tape the commercial announcements, we kept cheering for ron before jay finished (it took 4-5 takes) so on the last take, jay just put his hands up to get us to go as loud as we wanted because we weren't going to let him finish taping without cheering for ron :D

also, from my perspective, many people were delighted by ron's short interview, the girl next to me said she likes him because he seems very nice, the people around me in line were really curious about our story and really sympathized (since our people were scattered throughout, I'm sure our story was being told to most of the audience, we were engaging anybody that would hear our story) AND the folks that sat next to our table at the restaurant afterwards were really into ron paul after that particular interview, they took a bunch of pictures of us, took some brochures, I gave them a rally sign (which they were really excited about) and I told them to go home and youtube FOR LIBERTY recut and to youtube Ben Swann to catch up with what happened this primary. The daughter hugged me warmly from behind (unexpected!!! especially for two people who have barely exchanged any words) when I was chatting at the table for giving her a rally sign. I really didn't think my giving her a sign would impact her day that much, apparently it did!. These guys barely even knew who he was before this taping!!!! Their whole family was really into our group, now some of us have their contacts and we're going to get them involved locally.

after the taping, we had a grassroots briefing where we had some guest speakers call in and speaker it into the bullhorn, we had YFP CA state coordinator talk and also delegates from Alaska and Washington present to tell their story.

It was a pretty good day!

check out: www.amerikanlibertydrive.com, its the Alaskans' roadtrip documentary on liberty.

Here is his interview from today:

Ron leaving the studios in his lincoln towncar (I was expecting black Chevy Tahoe as usually, but I guess they're cutting down on expenses now that the campaign is winding down).

You did a good job cheering. Jay looked annoyed by it kinda. In hindsight I think chants during a talk show might not be effective. I loved the video of the supporters outside the building. It was inspiring.

Mind you...the atmosphere is extremely controlled in the studio during the taping. We had one PRESIDENT PAUL! outburst that quickly resulted in a warning.

There was another GARY JOHNSON outburst by a GJ guy, he was booted from the audience and screamed ENDORSE GARY JOHNSON as he was exited in the hallway. I admired him for his courage but didn't like that he was intruding on Ron's talk time.

How many people were at the rally outside the studio?

How many people were at the rally outside the studio?

I wasn't outside but I heard there weren't many, not nearly as close to the previous leno events we held for Ron. I have a feeling Labor Day had something to do with it, many people had to go back to work and couldn't get the day off.

Dude, I'm so bummed I couldn't go!! Yesterday while doing some yard work I whipped myself in the eye with a lemon tree branch and have been near-incapacitated ever since. Finally able to function now without it hurting so bad, I can open my other eye now and look around. Had to go to the emergency room last night because my wife thought she could see a splinter in my eyeball! Either she was wrong or it already came out on its own by the time we got there... Turned out to be just really bad corneal abrasions.

Anyway, really bummed that I couldn't be there! Probably just missed my last chance to see Ron without traveling some god awful distance. Thanks for posting!!!! And for spreading the message...

This. THIS! Seriously. This.

Keep waking people up. Get them engaged. Get them involved. This is how we win. It's so much more important than the Gary Johnson vs. Write-In discussion bogging down the movement right now.

+rep, and thank you!

Let's get Golden State on Leno.

I was flipping through TV and somehow ended up on MTV's Teen Mom (barf). I stopped because they were playing one of Golden State's songs. It was pretty damn cool. I think they've also been played on American Idol and Gossip Girl.
