Is the purpose of this site to collect our email addresses to be used for other purposes?

I did a search on the web for the owner of the site and found this:

========

I asked Lyman what's next on his horizon. He said:

"Well, now I've got a list of 18,000+ email addresses of Paul supporters, so I've been thinking about some more ways to get the word out. One of the things I've thought about is a way to talk about the hazards of the Federal Reserve System, as a way of educating people about what it is, how it works, and the problems it causes."

========

I hope this is not just a ploy to get our info for other purposes but
his comment makes me wonder.

I have no problem with a canidate having my info, but just a person
that set up a website getting my email for other purposes is wrong.

I wouldn't be to concerned I signed up for the December 16th Money Bomb in 07 and every now and then he sends out an email about something about supporting a constitutional candidate. It is pretty harmless stuff. Everyone knows who he is so I don't think he wants to ruin his rep.

Personally, I think a lot of formerly banned members are back, e.g. TruthWarrior. No, I won't specifically say who I think it is, but I'm fairly sure. TW had more than 10k posts in a fairly short time span and my new suspect has a similar rate and behavior. In other words, some people are simply addicted to this forum. Why? I don't know. Many RPF addicts, i.e. very high number of posts/time of membership, don't really seem to be practical activists for liberty anyway or even donate to candidates.

I'll send an e-mail about this money bomb to one of my contacts within the next couple of days. Hopefully, we'll collectively have a good response to this money bomb. The educational value itself is worth holding this money bomb.
