First of all, no one gives a rolling donut what Saul thinks. And, there was nothing of note at the convention for any of the "small group of activists" to tinker with unless he's referring to the passing out of the RNC shenanigans sheets. That said, this group of activists is hardly small when he got his ass handed to him back in May and denied the Nat'l committeeman position 70-30%, that's an embarrassment of epic proportions considering he was a former state chair. Plus, that race showed that the conservative grassroots base of the party was 2:1 and that's before the seating of the new precinct delegates. Also, many of the veteran delegates on our side sat home this time so the noobs could attend and see what it's like. Come our next county conventions, we're gonna stack our state delegations with an overwhelming coalition of liberty conservatives and others that will completely reshape the party leadership going forward. We'll see what Saul's emails look like then.
But - and this is key - despite losing an election, and getting booted from his chair, and backing a losing candidate for Senate, and a myriad of other fails I could list here, he's still not getting pissed off and quitting.
