Murray Sabrin for Governor of New Jersey?? check this out

Right now George W. Bush's US Attorney, Chris Christie is leading the poll.

Do YOU want George W. Bush's US Attorney leading anything?

GO VOTE!

I'm confused is this not the same 'fiscal conservative' that e-mailed out begging for money a week ago to forgive his debt?

I like Murray, but it would be hard to imagine a worse run campaign than his, unless it was RP's himself.

The first issue he hit hard was teenage drinking. Seems there was a lot of pent up demand for teenage drinking, so Murray came out in support of it. He inexplicably led off his campaign with a statement wanting to lower the drinking age. Great start there.

Then, his second issue was a sop to the borders brigade. I have lived in NJ. The border is about the least important issue in the state.

I like Murray, like I said initially. And I donated to his campaign. But I now wish I'd lit a cigar with the 100 dollars I sent him because it would have been a more productive use of the funds.

Did any of the "Murray Sabrin" Republican win their bids for Republican Nomination for House?

Fully agree. I also donated to him, but mainly on the basis of representations that he was in range of winning the nomination for Senate (based on my usual criteria of 'open/vulnerable seat, state trends GOP or is a swing area, winnable nomination,' etc.). Both the campaign (and the Rockwell blog) frequently insinuated this was the case---then we got the poll numbers the last week before the primaries, showing he was merely just into the double digits. Sabrin was leaking, and is leaking. We should consider him for a Gov run ONLY if he hires a real pro to manage the campaign, and can present poll numbers showing he is competitive for the Republican nomination.
