Is "theft is wrong" a moral statement?

If so, how does a legislature passing a law outlawing theft not count as "legislating morality"?

I think sola would say there shouldn't be a state, but even then, he wants the laws to ban immorality. THis is something I've been saying for awhile, EVERYONE wants to enforce morality, its just which one and how much.

The problem with pointing this out, is that even if true, it has been said so much that no one cares.
