MTG announces resignation from Congress effective 05 January 2026

I honestly don't know how anyone could look at what Trump has done and still think the hyena would have been more than 12-13% worse.

She might not have been as bad just because not even half the country would have let her get away with murder.
Yeah, I think you're mistaken there. And I'm being honest.

I really think the clamp downs on free speech would have mirrored the UK and I think the flood of taxpayer money going to importing the third world would have increased dramatically. Remember, it isn't just the person in the seat, it's the ideology of the people in the administration. I can't even imagine what those lunatics would do to energy policy!

No one (at least no one rational) thinks this isn't a shit show, but it could be worse. It could always be worse.

Republicans let their politicians get away with literal murder. Even Trump said it, back in '16 or '17. They'll reelect their worst because "Winning!" They're the Charlie Sheen Party.

Democrats do too, but when they let theirs betray them without a word, conservatives sometimes have reason to like it.

Where would your blood pressure be if the hyena was doing this exact same happy shit?

Well thats what major European Leaders are saying in response to the Trump Corollary.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz doesn't have to use the same words as Trump does to say similar things.

The same words aren't going to resonate with Europe but when European leaders are being influenced by the Trump administration's MAGA policies and MAGA culture its the MAGA revolution going global.

It used to be that European countries didn't spend any money on national defense. It had long been that way.

Trump went to NATO and told them to pay for their own defense in his first administration and they laughed at him.

Now their leaders are singing a different tune.

"The decades of the 'Pax Americana' are largely over for us in Europe, and also for us in Germany as well. It no longer exists as we knew it. And nostalgia won't change that."

"I see no necessity for the Americans now wanting to save democracy in Europe. If it were to be saved, we would manage that on our own."

"The strategy... confirms my assessment that we in Europe, and therefore also in Germany, must become much more independent from the US in terms of security policy."

Republicans ...
Way to not address the point I was making... 🙄

His free speech policy is trying to silence Israel's critics, his immigration policy is to expand the H1B program at our expense because Americans can't be trained, his energy policy is invade yet another country that has natural gas, and you're not pushing back (or even listening, as your "..." proves).

Way to totally prove the point I was making.
