MSNBC Removes "The Taxes Whisper" Post

You know, I'm not sure about this, but it sounds as if someone was prodding Russert to continue with his question... as if someone (another moderator? director?) sensed Russert was going to finish the question right then and there without loading it with the specific raise taxes tidbit... you can tell Russert, after the whisper, tries to regain the questioning by saying the bit about Reagan raising taxes...

I went and watched the video again. I think your right. I think it was Brian Williams who said "He raised taxes" to Tim Russert.

That was my first suspicion also, but then you have NBC's own reporters noticing sound coming through another audio channel not associated with Tom Russert. Look back at the original post on this thread and read the little post on the screen shot by the NBC reporter.

It just looks fishy even if it is proved not to be the case.

I went and watched the video again. I think your right. I think it was Brian Williams who said "He raised taxes" to Tim Russert.

Maybe Russert didn't read the question word for word, and was trying to make Romney look stupid if he didn't know what Reagan did. Or maybe it was just sloppy. Or maybe it was McCain. Or maybe the whole thing is just staged.

I agree. If Romney were receiving answers, they would not be that audible. I'm sure with his money he can buy technology that works properly. Especially since Russert's question did sound incomplete as asked.
