He was rude. He didn't let her finish. The message gets corrupted when the messenger acts like a self-important douche.
This is a misinterpretation. Ratigan is the "principled" left guy who says that the bill coddles the insurance companies because it guarantees them new customers with the individual mandate, but doesn't subject them to "competition" with public option.
Wasserman-Schultz was essentially defending the corporatist bill.

On the one hand, Dylan's right. She's spouting the same Democratic "this will revolutionize healthcare" talking points, so why bother talking to her?
On the other hand, what else can she say beside talking points? If she concedes that insurance companies will benefit, the whole fraud will be exposed in plain sight.

I suggest doing some research on that foamed mouth skank Debbie Wasserman-Schultz first.
She heads the Operations budget for the legislature in Washington DC... not only did her committee just increase the FY2010 Legislative budget by 14.5%, they deleted funding certain sections of the capital budget by $100's of millions. She runs these tricks of increasing funding for THEIR own gilded ops, then slips the rest of the budget into supplemental bills during the FY, like OMNIBUS, middle east perpetual war bills, etc.
She's a sneaky sly thieven bitch. The capital operations budget has over doubled in this decade. Debbie Wasser-Schultz IS a big cause of the gilded government in these trying times while people lose jobs and go hungry.
May Dylan Ratigan ride the sneak up one side and down the other. She's all BS when she opens her mouth and is one of the more destructive house members to our republic.
