MSNBC host apologizes for attack on Mitt Romney's adopted black grandson

No, his name is Kiernan, and he's a boy. The liberals have been pissed about this since September. MSNBC just decided to jump in, and got nailed.

If you dig around, you can find plenty of liberals bitching about the Romney's buying their own slave, demanding they give the baby back, and all sorts of other typical liberal ugliness.

Huh. I wonder why they dressed him to match the girl's theme then. It's clear from the picture that they had access to blue checker baby clothes.

I don't consider Limbaugh a member of the team on my end of the field. Neocons like Limbaugh along with these "progressive" left types are two birds of a feather flocking together.

And in addition, he was called out harshly over it from both sides of the aisle, and that was pretty much the last of it we heard from the right. But the left went after Palin's kids with a level of hate that should have been a wake up call to anybody on the fence about what drives these people.

Harris-Perry is about as much of a condescending leftist as one can possibly be, but can Sarah Palin just go away forever?

First she stands up for "free speech" for people she agrees with (as if a contract between two parties with no government interference has anything to do with free speech), and just a few short days later she becomes the speech police. This is not the first time this has happened.

You know what Mitt Romney, you have a really nice looking family. Really, just forget politics, and enjoy your time with all those grandkids. Don't let these vindictive, dark-hearted idiots at MS-NBC waste your time.

All of us are here for too short a time to worry about what skunks like MHP think about us or our family/friends.
This.

Pretty sure the black grandchild is a girl, not a boy. If you notice, the family pic has a theme going, and unless the Romney's are trying to raise a cross-dresser....

The other boys look to be toddlers not infant size. He appears to have on a boy shortalls similar to this:

The two types of check were dizzying enough and they might have decided to go with something that was boy and color matched the theme that was easier to find? It still went with the theme even if he didn't match the other boys. :) Creepy uniform picture but nice looking children...

MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry breaks down during Romney apology

By DYLAN BYERS | 1/4/14 4:22 PM EST

MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry offered a tearful and passionate apology to the Romneys on Saturday for remarks she and her panelists made about the family's adopted black grandchild.

In a segment last week, Harris-Perry joked about the grandson while one panelist, actress Pia Glenn, sang “one of these things is not like the other” and comedian Dean Obeidallah sought to draw a parallel to the Republican Party's problems with diversity. The remarks drew heavy criticism from high-profile conservatives like Sarah Palin and Scott Brown.

Harris-Perry apologized on Twitter early last week, but criticism continued to mount, as both CNN and Fox News ran reports on the remarks.

In her apology on Saturday, Harris-Perry said she had intended to say "positive and celebratory things" about the photo.

"But whatever the intent was, the reality is that the segment proceeded in a way that was offensive, and showing the photo in that context of the segment was poor judgment," she said. "So, without reservation or qualification, I apologize to the Romney family."
