Neil Boortz and a few others are commenting about rumors that RP's fund raising successes might be a conspiracy by the democrats to “shake-up” the republican party. Who’s crazy now?

Are the majority of these contributions also from Democrat sources (same as the last time) in another effort to sabotage the Republican Primary process (same as with McCain in 2000) of selecting a *Republican* nominee? And why is Ron Paul pretending to be a Republican when he is a Libertarian? Is he ashamed of being a Libertarian? I seem to recall that Lyndon LaRouche used to have a lot of money as well.

It is subliminal: mentioning conspiracy in conjunction with Dr. Paul with infinite reiterations, not unlike Saddam and 911.
 
I've actually met several people who honestly believe that George Soros is funding Ron Paul.

These people are absolutely crazy.

Unless you are a trained professional, dealing with the deeply disturbed is best accomplished by making an immediate but unobtrusive retreat. Speak in soothing non confrontational voice tones. Turning partially away from the individual presents a non threatening body profile while allowing a clear view of your exit strategy. Avoid eye contact and never let the subject block your escape path.
 
Little guy says something backed up by evidence = conspiracy.
Big guy pulls something out of his ass = astute political analysis.
 
I would ask:

Is the high amount of fundraising and "support" for the Republican front runners a Democratic conspiracy to have an easy-to-beat nominee?
 
I suppose another conspiracy would be to have a former democratic candidate endorse a republican one... oh the horror!
 
These types of comments were being posted on the DesMoines Register's page today also.

I put the "Ron Paul gets his money from George Soros" in the same boat as the 9/11 truthers.

Hey, maybe if we actually did that, they'd wipe eachother out and we wouldn't have to deal with either anymore :D
