...in the name of a terrorist." Woo! We got a three minute segment talking about anarchy and such!
Many warned early on that this would be a potential problem with the "Remember the 5th of November" "moneybomb," so it should not be a surprise that we are indeed receiving such critical, negative coverage.
Doing it on the 11th would have been
such a better idea (historically, intellectually, symbolically, strategically...though who knows about monetarily?--i.e., donations may not have been as substantial).
Again, though, the
real issue (beyond what the media can try to do) is
money. And I definitely agree that the Guy Fawkes, "Remember the 5th of November" idea was
brilliant as far as an effective, efficient meme complex is concerned. In other words, 1) it was helpful (and necessary) as far as a catalyst is concerned that
V for Vendetta was already an established pop-culture icon; 2) the simple fact that the "theme" of the "moneybomb"
is so controversial probably lent many helping hands to the excitement and buzz of the event; 3) we're really pissed at the damn corporate "MSM" as it is, so it almost seemed fitting that we would choose such a theme for the "moneybomb," if for no other reason than out of sheer spite and the intense desire to scream "
FUCK YOU!!!" at those puppet-bastards--so it was a sort of "bring it on, bitches!" (though not so vulgur :o

) in the sense that we are showing them that
we are not afraid and that
We the People are more powerful than them, and we will not lie down and be controlled!
So yeah. I say that we should be
proud of ourselves, and we should use our new and improved confidence to take advantage of this accelerating momentum and push on through until we have Ron Paul in the White House (and well guarded by the well armed populace/freedom lovers

).
The media is proving to be helpless against the power of the Freedom Movement. Again, we proved that yesterday.
They're just whiny little brats who obviously need to be taught a lesson or two about integrity.
The Truth will win in the end.
