more interesting tweets about the lawsuit

what about dislocating hips and breaking fingers when you are following Roberts' rules of order? Arresting the delegate in Georgia the other day? Things like that? I suspect they are making a pattern and practice argument by showing overwhelming evidence, varying by locale, but nation wide, with repetition of tactics. But the complaint is allegations, the law suit is where it is all proven.

Oh I was just talking about the evidence I read in the PDF linked in this thread, where the purpose is to unbind all the delegates. Yes, the physical assaults are obviously illegal and those people should be sent to jail/dealt with legally.

I think bound or not in most states they can vote to NOMINATE, that is separate from winning. THe nomination alone gets Ron the unedited speech and a showing up support in a format that hasn't occurred since 1976. The rest of this is about WINNING. And that will take negotiations and convincing others to come our way, out of the choices then available. Santa might (and might not) have five states but if Palin comes in, how many of his, unbound, might prefer her? Or whatever? It opens up all the brokered convention speculation.

I'm very confused.

I am Honored to Announce That I have Been asked to be the Attorney of Record For The Federal Case and I have Accepted- Richard Gilbert

This is supposedly being tweeted by the Atty of Record and the guy doing all the interviews, etc.

This is not good. I'm back to my original suspicions that this was an attempt to "root out" our national delegates and/or bind them via the courts to Romney.

That is not good? What is not good? That he is Attorney of Record For The Federal Case???

Even the name "USA_Patriot_Press‏" sounds like something a psyop would choose.

QFT (emotions are high but people need to calm down and look facts and not "hunches"):
I've seen the filed civil complaint, both Barex and I posted links to it last week....

The DOJ would absolutely need to be involved to file a criminal complaint.....However, the RICO act only attaches to statutory crimes, so without a predicate offense there can be no RICO enhancement...

It's the formal complaint filed with the AUSA that i would like to see a copy of, and honestly it's probably way too soon for there to even be one available.

If the criminal case moves forward the AUSA would have to get a grand jury to indict before any arrests occurred....Realistically assembling evidence to seek an indictment generally takes months if not years...

Bottom line: everything these guys did so far was/is right and honest. There is nothing to even suggest otherwise. Caution is good but paranoid accusations without any well anything are not (please dont take this personally). There are 100s and 1000s of people involved in this. If there is anything "shady" about this someone would have said it by now.

Bottom bottom line (something like P.p.s.):
Billion things can go wrong. Still this is battle worth fighting. When you wake up in the morning you dont say Bus might hit me I am not leaving my house; I could screw something I am not going to work etc.

Viribus Unitis.

reading his latest tweets. Lawyers for RP have gone abolutely lunatic trying to get delegate info. Do not trust Benton. Do not trust Doug Wead (the Oracle told them not to trust Wead ). Do not trust Ron Paul when he says he doesn't support the lawsuit. The only people you can trust ARE Lawyers for Ron Paul so disregard EVERYTHING the campaign says Nat'l delegates and make sure you give them your names and personal info . They have taken over the campaign from the evil-doers .

I sure hope our Nat'l Delegates were told not to become part of this lawsuit!

The Oracle told him? Rolf!

The Facebook video conference remains online, so, facts sting Mr "Go For It" Doug Wead- The Oracle warned not to trust Mr Wead

Oh really now?

USA_Patriot_Press‏@USA_Free_Press

@tweetAmiracle Expose Jesse Benton and contact the delegates from Massachusetts. Later I will get as much contact info as possible

*****

Uh huh....I'm sure that's what Jesse is trying to do

USA_Patriot_Press‏@USA_Free_Press

Jesse Benton is trying to prevent Ron Paul from having 5 states required to have name put in nomination

*****

And he knows this how? lol

USA_Patriot_Press‏@USA_Free_Press

@SmartPeople4Ron --The leader of the Mass delegates speaks with Jesse Benton several times per week and is under Benton's influence

*****

Yeah..I'm sure that is Benton's plan

USA_Patriot_Press‏@USA_Free_Press

DR Paul must have 5 States under Rule 40 for Delegates to put his name in nomination -Mass is the 5th State & Benton is trying to prevent it

******

Seriously...this is insanity and I pray our delegates didn't fall for it.

This whole business is getting out of hand, where's waldo?

I can't vouch for them and I think they are jumping to conclusions about Benton, on little info. They believe he is telling Mass delegates not to join the suit correctly or not. I make no recommendations and definitely would want to be confident of them before I gave them info if I were a national delegate. But I read the guy (or one of them) sending the tweet about as if we opened the forum and offered whichever forum member took the assignment first to send out the information. Sometimes those tweeting would be more reliable than others. I am still waiting to see, a bit.

34 tweets from this guy in less than 24 hrs. You'd think he'd be a bit busier with the "lawsuit" than spend so much time twittering how evil
RP's campaign is.

Okay, just thinking out loud, I'm not even suggesting this is the case:
Start a lawsuit that would fail and expose in order to prevent indepedent lawsuits, kind of like a class action suit that prevents suits down the road.
But that's not what this is.

Almost makes you wonder....

What I want to see is the corrupt chairmen and such lose their seats.... Because even if this lawsuit works to unbound the delegates, if that doesn't end up making a difference, then those who committed the crimes still stand to hold on to their positions, no? Or can this suti provide any justice there? That's where I remain very skeptical, because one of our top priorities should not only be exposing, but stripping those of their positions who abuse them, so they can't continue on this way in the future.

That is supposed to be the RICO suit later, right? At first they want an injunction to prevent harrassment and allow for vote by concience.

Yeah, all sorts of things are possible. I just don't know that that is the case.

ROLF! Lawyers do not talk like that in correspondance.

Actually, some do.

Notice and attempt to get the other side to cure might be a requirement of whatever they are doing. Or they might just be trying to proactively help by letting them know they WILL be included in the suit while there is still time for them to retract and reconsider their actions.

'and if one of the tweeters is a research assistant, he might have drafted the letter for the attorney's signature. This is a PRO BONO case. I'm sure they are going more for substance than pristine beauty of legal correspondence.

I tend to take documents filed in the district court at their face value.

I also tend to take "tweets" and internet postings as worth what I paid for `em...

Ya' know what they say about opinions.....
