More good *sarcasm* news from Texas

that paper has had its palm up forever --- they even admit it in that they supported Paul's opponent last time.

Read the last few paragraphs, and recognize the outstretched (GIMME) hand of that paper.

"why aren't people donating to the ron paul newspaper?" .. I wonder the same thing..

They dropped a MILLION bucks to try to sway voters in just a small area of TX, but won't let loose of a tiny percentage of that to sway 500,000 voters in rural areas all across TX. It boggles the mind. Kind of like why the Paul campaign refuses to advertise in VT. ?!?

Looks more like an endorement of Paul to me. Of course they pretty much crucify themselves with the notion that we don't care what's right just how to play the system.

sarcasm is always a tricky technique - many people don't understand it - many don't read the whole article - many read the headline only -

I actually read every word and I'm certainly no strager to sarcasm. I just re-read it and fail to see how this is in Paul's favor?

I agree with OP, there is no sarcasm in the referenced article:

We can’t say he [Ron Paul] is an effective representative of the district.

Paul makes it a point to cast no votes on government spending, even if those funds are going to be spent in his own district or in a neighboring district.

...

...Peden is the better choice.

The basic gist of the article is that Paul is a dissenter who is being punished by the majority, and therefore should be removed.

It's not a big surprise.

Every jurisdiction in the nation wants more money, and if they must grovel before the federal government to get it, so be it. Its the game of politics.

Yeah, my county (Galveston) is a democratic county. I don't care to know anything about Peden, but surely he's more democratic than Ron Paul ...(who isn't)?
Too bad I'll be voting RON PAUL!
