More Exit Poll Data: 75% said weekend debate impacted decision.
Among Republican voters, over one-third made their decision in the days leading up to the primary. Thirty-nine percent said they had made their choice over the weekend or as they went to vote.
The issue of shared values was the most important factor cited by the Republican voters. Thirty-six percent said they voted for a candidate who "shares my values." Thirty percent made their decision on a candidate "saying what he believes." The right experience was cited by 24 percent.
Seventy-five percent of Republican voters said the weekend debate was of importance in their decision.
