The money won't do the campaign any good for Feb 5th, but it will give them an idea of the amount of additional money upon which they can depend come Super Tuesday. Say, they want to reserve $1M at the close of Super Tuesday. With a money bomb on Feb 3rd, they can reasonably assume that they'll have $3M on Super Tuesday instead of $1M.

But what is wrong with President's day? Yes I know, its associated with Lincoln AND Washington, but why not market it as a salute to GREAT presidents who represented individual liberty, and RON PAUL.

The only change that I'd make to the Liberty Tax money bomb is a reduction is the pledged amount from $500 to $250 to make it more accessible. Let's face it, giving Ron $15M just before Super Tuesday is rather pointless. Pledging just enough money before Super Tuesday, e.g. $2-5M, will allow the campaign some breathing room to spend most of the money that they currently have NOW for advertisements.
