Momentum Swinging Upwards

Despite a week where a staffer resigned because of damaging images, the Rand Campaign has caught wind of even more positive momentum. It appears the image will have even a smaller impact than I thought, as Political Scientists from the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville both dismissed the recent developments as trivial.

But that didn’t stop the campaign from having a positive week. The campaign raised over 300,000 dollars and Rand is getting attention from the National Media, including CQ Politics and the Glenn Beck show, where he received positive feedback from Judge Napolitano, who brought up a good point– Rand’s leading in the polls and dominating with raising money, so why is the Republican Party supporting the other guy?

It was an important week for Rand as he took more major steps toward victory. And don’t expect that to change anytime soon. Although they may have some minor speed-bumps along the way, this is still the hardest working campaign there is–and don’t expect that to change anytime soon.

Agreed, but good press is still nice, even if he only has 10 followers. He really needs to advertise that blog.

Stumbleupon has a great domain shortener (su.pr) that, when clicked from a medium like facebook or twitter, links to the content surrounded by a frame of other content that you choose. It's a great tool to expose people to your content. Our blogger friend should use it, and link to his posts all over the place.

You can seed the code with keywords that trigger better results on search pages. There are services out there (affordable ones for the most part) that deliver SEO (search engine optimization) to your site. It's worth investing in, as it will increase traffic to your blog by orders of magnitude.
