Mom Just got a RoboCall - Rand Paul wants to legalize TEH DRUGZ

"Toady" I was eating dinner with my parents and my mom took a phone call. It was a Robocall saying Rand Paul wanted to legalize drugs and to check out some website. She did not pay much attention to it as I guess she did not think her son would be so interested in the details.

Parents do not have caller ID. Call came in around 3:30 pm today, they are Registered Republicans in the 6th district. I do not have a listed landline which is too bad because I have caller ID. Anyone else get this Robocall?

Someone on Facebook received a "robo" call from something identified as the Kentucky Leadership Council stating that they were calling to inform that person that Rand Paul has plans to legalize meth labs in Kentucky.

People are tweeting about it and it is on Free Republic along with a pretty comprehensive rebuttal including the politifact finding that the drug claim was false. It is by Andrew Horne's group.

Weren't there a bunch of shady robocalls around the primary on the Dem side, too? Aren't they afraid some Dr Dan supporters might put two and two together?

I doubt it. It's not going to have any real effect one way or another. Almost everybody knows who they're voting for now and people aren't swayed by annoying robocalls.
